Bruce Kagan, Chief Executive Officer, Blackmont Capital Inc.

Bruce has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Blackmont Capital Inc., Bruce was head of the wealth management division at Dundee Securities. He has also worked at CIBC Wood Gundy, where he assumed responsibility for corporate-wide training and development, high net worth operations across the country, and managing the Toronto region. He began his career as an Investment Advisor at Midland Walwyn/Merrill Lynch, where he earned recognition as a Chairman’s Club member and was later promoted to Branch Manager, with responsibility for one of its Toronto branches. Bruce Kagan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University and carries the CFA designation.

Wayne Adlam, President, Blackmont Capital Inc.

Wayne is a veteran of the Canadian capital markets, with extensive experience in equity financings, advisory services and merchant banking. Prior to joining Blackmont, Wayne spent 18 years at CIBC World Markets, where he was intimately involved in all aspects of the investment banking business, including holding senior positions as the Head of Equity Capital Markets and the Co-Head of Merchant Banking. Wayne has worked on hundreds of transactions, ranging from some of the largest deals ever completed in Canada to raising seed financing for emerging companies. He has developed an extensive client network, and has become widely known for his excellent market intelligence and for providing his clients with honest and straightforward advice. Wayne has developed particular expertise in the REIT and income fund sectors, where he has directed numerous IPOs, secondary financings and advisory assignments. Wayne received his MBA from the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as the Gold Medalist, and an Honours BA from the University of Waterloo.
